I think it's that they are both dominant characters so there has to be a shift in dynamics sometimes to make them work. Angst allows that to happen. Idk. You could go digging through my fic masterlist (I FINALLY MADE ONE) I'm sure I have something fluffy there... I think... maybe not. 0__0

You just basically described Kogan in a nutshell. I totally welcome any fluffy Kames, it's not all tension all the time ya know, because people actually think that, but there's so much more to it, and that's why I enjoy this ship.

I'm all on board for fluffy kames. This ship definitely has a bad rap for angst. I wonder why that is? I mean, there is truly excellent fluff out there. my personal issue is I've already read most of it There's just lots and lots of angst. I probably definitely contributed to that.

But I think there's got to be a fair amount of angst in kogan (maybe?) and Kendall/Logan just has a way bigger fanbase, so I end up seeing more fluff. We are totally going to fix that though. I'm writing attempting to write some major fluff.

I found that fanmix so exciting. I mean, there's not a whole lot of mixes in the BTR fandom to begin with, but I think I've only seen Kendall/Dustin, Kendall/Logan, and James/Logan. This pretty much made my millenia, and it's all happy and poppy and kind of sexy. Ooh, I like playlists. -clicks-

Re: fic, you are a terrible influence on me, because what was SUPPOSED to be a wacky space opera AU featuring James/Logan (and James/Logan Camille, and James/Camille, because hi, it's me) has turned upside down a bit because Kendall WILL NOT STOP thinking about how much he loves James. And when he gets hit with the sex pollen he's not going to be able to keep his hands to himself. Seriously, it's become a problem (and necessitated plot and backstory, so it is no longer wacky and will probably never get finished).

LOL my boyfriend will cope. He put up such a fit when he had to meet my mom and now he's like, will she buy me sandwich we do not cook in my house nosiree. Yeah, dude, he's from Queens which is basically home of Little India, and actually, my ex was from a really brown-centric area of Long Island. And our schools were hugely brown, so Indian/Pakistani/Arabic/what have you culture somehow really worked it's way in my life. I am also a tall, pale girl. And sometimes, currently, blonde. Lol, I feel like we're going to have a million conversations about this: I'm a sucker for middle-eastern boys because ME TOO.

Lol, dude, no, I get that. As much as I mock my boyfriend, he is freakishly confident when it comes to people. Just, not family type people. Specifically his and mine. My ex was also freaky confident, but he had a better handle on his family- although not completely. I think a lot of it has to do with how much respect brown guys are raised to have for their parents, and some of that channels into an obsessive fear that you don't even see (until they are sneaking you into their home.
