I should correct that statement immediately. I hate people who post fic/mixes/whatever to communities, but then reroute the link to their journal...which they've f-locked. Usually, with fic, I'm just like, whatever- I'm too shy to go up to anyone and say, hey, let's be besties just so I can read

It's really frustrating and kind of feels like a cocktease when you find one in a community and then can't read it because it's f-locked.
I understand the reason to f-lock, but it doesn't make it suck any less!

I do that, but it was a last minute decision awhile back to lock everything because of who could see it. I'm thinking about reposting to communities and locking them there so everyone can read them.

I do understand locking everything, esp. now when jobs and family and anyone can look you up (that's why pretty much everything I do online other than facebook is under a penname). So yeah, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry for!
