This week was awful. Next week will be worse. Sometimes, I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have fandom to bring glitter and rainbow into my life *hugs her imaginary Aiba-plushie*.
So I finally, finally managed to finish watching Maou tonight (episodes 10 and 11). At least I'm only late by...4 weeks? A bit of review and thoughts below; be warned

I don't know if you've seen the Nikkan Sports Drama Awards, but Maou took a clean sweep pretty much. The only one they didn't win was "Best Actress" because they weren't in that category. :DD
And I'm excited about Ryuusei no Kizuna. Hopefully it'll be subbed quickly. :D

And yes, I did see that. I was very excited, especially for Ohno as this was his first starring drama, though I didn't like how I had to choose between Ohno and Toma when voting :(
Never doubt the power of fandom and just how fast they can be :3

I agree with you about the ending. It was a bit of a "WTH?" moment, but at the same time I think that the writers really wanted to mess with our minds right up until the end. Or...they ran out of ideas?
When you mentioned the somewhat predictable turn of events, I have to agree. Some stupid person on LJ had said in a comment that in the Korean version both characters had stabbed each other...even if they were rewriting the Korean script and making it somewhat original...there's only so original you can get with an ending like that!! I hate people who don't mark spoilers...
I hope someone subs Ryuusei no Kizuna soon... *sad*

Messing with our heads. Obviously. I heard that the DVD box is supposed to come with a disc or a bonus feature section with deleted scenes and extra bits; some people are saying that the writers purposefully left the ending like that to promote sales for the DVDs, banking on the fact that most of us have irritatingly persistent curiosities. Who knows.
Even though I love fandom, people who post spoilerific things without warning makes me a very sad red-panda... :(
Oh, it'll be subbed soon, and you know it. Either Stormy, or AST, or Sakurai-subs, or one of the other many groups will see to that.
