my heart goes out to those in Louisiana and Mississippi
where ever the hurricane hits...

at least this time, we are better prepared for what is to come
especially for those and their pets
more lives will be saved

but for you and all that will be lost
my heart does ache...

I've seen a few people today doing the "woe is me" thing... which, they have every right to do. But I can't help but think that for the most part, peoples' problems pale in comparison to what people on the gulf coast are having to go through - AGAIN.

At least people are listening to the warnings this time and getting out of the way of this monster.

bottom line...it sucks to leave your life and your belongings behind you
could be a blessing
could be a curse
but that doesn't make things any easier
