[Behind him, the sky and the landscape don't give many clues to where he might be. Could be anywhere on the planet, really. No real signs of civilization, just wilderness.]
As for the question so many people want answered--good for you! You won't have an innocent life on your conscience. After all, I'm volunteering.
Still, it's too bad...but I'd rather not see any of your miserable faces ever again, so if I don't show up on the ship again after a week, you'll have to guess what that means. Either leaving does mean death, or this isn't a prison after all...
[With that, he opens his hand and lets the Guide fall. It turns in midair, showing a dizzying spiral of cliff face and sky before it hits the ground, turning off abruptly.]
[ooc: Sync will not be replying to anything....obviously. However, Ammy will be organizing a search party in this post, so comment to her if your character was on board for this. Seto, Richezza, and Anise, as far as I remember. We will be logging the resulting fight (after Arietta tries and fails) so unfortunately participants have to be kept to a minimum. Feel free to have your character observe things, or talk amongst themselves, though. There will also be another log in a few days where people can come along and tauntpoke him to see how he's doing.]
