[Accidental Video]
[When the camera turns on, you can see Natalia and Shishi. They're in one of the rooms, though it's not clear which one, and looking at something on a computer screen.]
“Alright, I’m tired of listening to all these songs. Why don’t we just randomly pick one and go with it?”
"Do you think that would work? I suppose we can try it."
“I think it could. Between the two of us, we hardly know any of the music as it is. I honestly don’t know where to even begin for this assignment.”
"Yes, you're right. I don't think he thought about how hard this would be." [She shakes her head] "Music on Auldrant isn't anything like this."
“Agreed, but then music is his life. Where I spent most of my life training. The only music I heard was from my sisters when they had to practice. It was nothing like what we’ve been listening to…”
[The samurai demon shook his head and crossed his arms.]
“What was your music like?”
"Music is very important on Auldrant." [Natalia scrolls through the files on the screen and picks something] "What about this one?"
[They start reading the lyrics, but halfway through, he makes a face and shakes his head.]
“It’s too sappy. Why is every duet we keep finding a love song? Why can’t there be something that’s not romantic?”
"I don't know." [She frowns a little] "Maybe those who write the songs think people wouldn't sing together about anything else."
“It certaintly seems to be that way.”
[Shishi shruged and continued to go down the list. He muttered to himself as he read the song titles. He stops at one song title.]
“Do you know what angel means at all? I keep seeing that word pop up a lot.”
[She shakes her head] "No, I'm not sure. It's not something I heard of back home."
[She thinks] "I think I've seen them mentioned on the Guides a few times."
“From what I’ve seen; they were referred to as good people who opposed the demons.”
"Hmm. Then wouldn't you not want to sing about them?"
[Shishi paused to think on that. There would have been a point in time he would have agreed to her. But over time his thoughts have changed.]
“If I thought that way I wouldn’t be talking to you or to a lot of people on this ship.”
"Then it can't hurt to see how it sounds. How does it go?"
[He grinned back at her.] “Well, let’s play it and see what it sounds like.”
"Let's see."
[They take a minute or two to scan the lyrics before she has the computer start the music.]
[The song is this one. They're not great, as they've never sung it before, but not terrible either.]
