[Aerith holds her former favorite dress up in front of the guide.

Why former favorite? The bottom of it is cut incredibly ragged and lopsided, at a length that would barely cover her butt.]...I need a good idea what to do with this. I'd hate to just throw it out, but I obviously can't wear it as is! If only I was better at sewing. This might ( Read more... )

Ah... perhaps a hachimaki. It can be wrapped anywhere.

A hachimaki? Is it like a scarf, or a bandanna?

Oh, I'm Aerith, by the way. And you're Katsura, I know. I saw you on the sign-up post. [...And from the terrorist post, lol]

...I don't think "Divine punishment raining down" is very appropriate for their age [shaking her head as she says this]. But animals sound cute! We could ask their favorites. Slogan... something like "I love Camp Anawanna!"? At least, I hope they will.

Yep! I'm one of the counselors. I'm glad there's a few of us, I know children can be handfuls at times.

Do you have the rest of the dress? I know someone who could fix it for you.

Well, even sewing it back together, the cut would be pretty obvious I'd think. [She knows not this alchemy. :|a]

Really? That's amazing!

Let's see, the other piece... I think I saved it, because I thought it was pretty...now what did I do with it?

[The problem with modifying clothes as a seven-year-old. She glances around the room, but it's not in immediate sight.]

Maybe rather than wearing it as a dress, you could make it into some other kind of clothing.

I was wondering about that, but I've never tried anything with clothes besides mending rips. I wonder if it'd look all right as a shirt. Then I could wear it with a skirt, or jeans.

That would look nice. It's a basic color, so it should go well with a lot of things.

Have you had it for a long time?

I'll keep that in mind if I can't figure out what I did with the rest of it.

Pretty long! It's no family heirloom, but I've had it since I was seventeen.

Convert it into a bathing suit?

gospelofgreen September 6 2010, 19:28:20 UTC
Can you really do that with a dress? They're not made out of the same kind of fabric.

I don't see why not.

Hmm...Usually you don't have swimsuits button up the front, but maybe if there was something underneath...[Kinda moving the dress this way and that to look at it]

If I had the right things, I bet I could fix it! Creating threads and pieces of cloth is my specialty! It shouldn't be that hard to fix a dress.

[Pamela outright beams. A chance to do alchemy? Score!]

You make cloth? Did you make the clothes you're wearing? They're very pretty.

I did! I had to use the pattern of my school's academy, but I made it prettier. [She beams. Making things pretty is her specialty.]
