Apologies, room three-eight. The violent hacking's coming from this computer. The...language settings changed while I was clicking around, I think. Not exactly sure how coughing would translate well into conversation, but...

That doesn't sound good at all.

I wouldn't mind using it, myself. If only as a substitute for the power of the Great Stars, until I can find them again...it might at least allow us to fly again, if nothing else.

/askdjfasg I meant to put in Grand Stars. l-lol >///< astrum_matris September 30 2009, 22:30:46 UTC
Yes. The oldest and most powerful of sentient stars. Seven of them once powered the Comet Observatory, my home...but recently they were stripped away somehow, and we lost all form of energy. The people here are trying to repair it, and without power neither the Observatory or myself can depart from this ship.

This must be far, far from the system I'm from...I've never heard of sentient stars. Not that I'm surprised, the universe being as big as it is...

/sounds like a plan to me XD And lol that's fine. They're basically giant gold stars with eyes >.> astrum_matris September 30 2009, 22:53:54 UTC
The universe is indeed a vast place. But sentient stars are quite common where I am from.

However, I've yet to hear tell of any of them here...and without them, it doesn't look like the Observatory is going to be repaired anytime soon.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If a guy can turn a corner in one ship and walk into another one without so much as a flash of light as warning? There oughta be some help for that observatory of yours.
