5th strike - [Accidental Video]
[the video is wobbly and unfocused when it turns on, showing an empty hallway and...a leg. There's the sound of harsh breathing from somewhere. And then some slightly fainter, obnoxious laughter.]
Don't you dare underestimate me...
[a green glow forms in the air around the owner of the Guide, and a moment later the rush of wind, a loud thunk and a cry of pain can be heard. Sync just cast a spell and slammed his opponent into the ceiling. :D]
Tch...
[there's a grunt of pain, and the feed briefly shows Sync's face before dropping down again. Not, however, before it's clear that he's clutching his side with his other arm, and there's blood welling up around his fingers.]
[He approaches whatever attacked him, which turns out to be one of those giant cockroaches people have been encountering lately. It's lying on its back and waving its legs around helplessly, looking rather indignant. He looks down at it for a moment, then lifts his now bloody hand from his side, face contorted into a peculiar expression that is part anger and part concentration, as if he's trying not to wince.]
[He slams his open palm down in the middle of the thing's abdomen, the energy from the arte blasting a hole clean through it. The monster spasms, twitches, and then falls still. (Unbeknownst to Sync, it's decided to play dead.)]
[The boy makes a disgusted noise and turns away, his arm returning to cradle his injury, heading down the hall with a slight limp. The video eventually idles out.]
