[The intercom switches on, and for a few moments only the faint sounds of muffled bumps and crashes can be heard. After a moment or two, there is a loud *THUMP* as of something small and furry colliding with the microphone, and the captain's irritated voice can be heard]
...What do you mean you don't know if it's on? You flipped the switch, didn't you?
[a pause]
You flipped a switch?
[another pause]
You're pretty sure it was the right one?
[more cranky silence]
...Okay, fine, if it's on it's on, if it's not, whatever, they'll figure it out for themselves. *AHEM!* Good day! This is your captain speaking! It seems the lights have gone out! Bloody Improbability drive. Please don't be alarmed! The S.S. Thor is still in perfect working order. Life support, for example, is still functioning as far as we can tell, so there is absolutely nothing to worry about!
Incidentally, it seems someone has lost a shipment of Beluvvian Glowflies. Should anyone happen to encounter one of these creatures, please refrain from harming it in anyway. They may be large and hideous, but they are perfectly harmless and highly valuable, oh my yes.
We should be arriving at our next destination in 36 to 48 hours, barring accidents and incompetence. In the meantime, please enjoy the relaxing pitch-black ride and remember!

Okay guys! Improbability Drive Event is go.
To answer the questions from yesterday: while ALL abilities do work, however, if they give off light, the light DOES NOT appear. If your character needs to see, that's what the space bugs are for (aka, in case you don't want to go through with this particular event)
We also decided to extend the event until April 2nd. A couple of things came up IRL, so we got bogged down (it seems to attack us in swarms! Ahhh!!!) The 2nd is also when we'll start our new planet.
The anon username idea has been APPROVED. We'll be putting that up in a separate, locked post for your viewing pleasure! Keep in mind, that in order to reduce strain on one single account, we're going to split it up into three different usernames, based on character usernames. The full details will be in that post!
