Well, black holes have killed plenty of people, in my experience.

But if they could drop into ES Space or Warp space, don't you think they'd have already done it? Or use their what is it - improbability drive? The fact that the captains are scared indicates to me that their idiots that they don't have anything to combat this.

Which isn't to say that all of the highly intelligent people on this ship can't come up with something better, but as of yet all I've heard is a bunch of talk and not much action.
