[Crap, that's not a proper response, is it? He shakes his head, invisibly, and tries for something more articulate. But it sticks in his throat, and a sad, croaky hum is all he can really manage.]
[It'a rather heartbreaking, and Jade really does wish she could give him a comforting hug or something.. As friendly and optimistic she can be, she wasn't confident in her ability to comfort.]
It must hurt, I don't know what I'd do if I lost my friends.. But, they'll come back! That's the good thing about wormholes, they might be gone now, but they'll come back soon if not eventually. And you'll be here to greet them when they do!
Not to mention you still have friends here who are here for you, so you won't be alone.
