[So Minato has been a little quiet lately, hasn't been doing his daily rescues and brightening everyone's day with his sickening levels of faith, etc. He's got a family to get to know better, had a job down on the planet last month, maybe it's not that weird that no one has really heard from him in awhile ( Read more... )

[Minato is not apologetic at all for ruining anyone's life with this game.]

I should show up as a neighbor at the bottom of the game screen, if you click on my photo you can visit and perform five helping actions on my farm. All you have to do is click on the crop.

[you get experience!! and coins!! and sometimes find deadly weapons hidden in the soil!!]

[CropNinja what?]

[Um, accept?]

Jus' what sort of farm is this?

It's a game. You can grow various fruits or vegetables and sell them to neighboring villages for a profit which in turn allows you to fund and expand your training area. There are also enemy farms that will try to sabotage your farm, and likewise you can destroy their crops as well to ensure your products stay in high demand.

There are also lots of different colored cows.

Now why on earth would you go about destroyin' good crops like that? That seems mighty unneighborly. Farmin' ain't 'bout competin', it's 'bout growin' the best crops n' bein' fair.

[Oooo different colored cows you say.]

What sort of cows we talkin' 'bout?

Ideally, maybe. But it is just a game, you're not actually hurting anyone when you play and the idea is more to gather neighbors and allies to share supplies with and help.

[of course he'd do the same thing in person if he had to but... details.]

And there are many types of animals, most rather fantastical and just for fun. Any color you can think of, some have different shapes and designs instead of spots or stripes. They're kind of cute.

A farm game?

[Also, accept, because he's curious.]

Indeed. It's a little silly I suppose but I've found myself with more free time than I'm used to here on the ship.

Apologies, but it's a timed mission. If I don't collect all the items by tomorrow I won't get the stuffed Yeti to place on my farm.

Thank you, though. I'll send a gift in return, anything you'd like?

[The usual assortment of pixel junk I can't be assed to photoshop ninja masks on for this. PACKETS OF SHURIKEN SEEDS? PURPLE COWS WITH SWORDS? The possibilities are limitless.]
