[ Well, he was right about one thing. Katara being here meant Aang was here, too. But just like Katara and Suki, Aang had slipped right under his radar. ]

[ But seeing Aang so depressed is rather shocking. He obviously understands -why- Aang is so upset, but... It's still unsettling. Zuko had gotten used to Aang's upbeat attitude both before and after joining the group. ]

He's a sky bison. [ Pet, pet. ] He likes meeting new people! [ "Yes, I do," Appa replies in his own language, at least that's what Aang hears. ]

Yeah, we did just get here. It's a lot to take in, but everyone here is friendlier than I imagined.

[Video-Action] 1/BRACE FOR IMPACT!!!

[ It had been hard getting herself to part from the others for sleep the night before, but eventually sleep came. Today was a fresh day to start looking again, and talking and brainstorming with Zuko and Suki had given her back a lot of hope. Maybe the others were on other ships, maybe they'd show up on this one over time, maybe they were already here and they just had to keep looking!

That's what Katara was doing until a few minutes ago, in fact, wandering away from her room with the other four occupants to see who she could find, hopefully. She would stay up late searching and start again early until they'd found the others-- at least that's what she said now.

Well to be more specific she was RESTING from her searching, sitting on one side of the hallway with her knees pulled up to her chin, guide on the ground next to her when familiar animal noises-- bison grunts and huffs --reach her ears.

Then: "What a waste! I don't even want to learn how to use this thing because I hate this place!". ]

[ And it's not just on the guide, either, just like with Suki she can hear the voices from not far off. After yesterday she knows better than to assume that she's just imagining things. She sits up, legs straightening out, shaking herself out of memory lane long enough to focus on what she's hearing.

"We'll go somewhere where we'll never have to fill out another form again-- doesn't that guy know what empathy is?!"

And before she really knows it Katara is getting to her feet and grabbing her guide in a hurry because she might need it to give Zuko and Suki the good news and the sight of that familiar fur is such a comfort in itself. ]

3/OKAY GOOD HERE IT COMES. DONE.

[ Can't really waste a minute to speak because she'd rather save her breath for running.

"I guess it's a good thing my Chakra is blocked, otherwise I'd be in the Avatar State right now!"

NO NO NO Aang don't throw it away ALSKDFJASLDKFJAS! Katara finally gives in and slows down a little bit, turning and looking around, calling out in hopes that Aang is close enough to hear her voice and help her out a little. THIS IS A BIG SHIP and after Ba Sing Se she's not at all surprised by how hard it is to spot a big fluffy bison with an arrow on his head. ]

Aang! Aang, I'm here! Where are you?

[ His ears re the first thing to perk up, but soon his entire body is jerking into an upright position. ]

Katara?! Er.. [ He looks around before jumping off of Appa. ] Where are you? [ Aang heads toward the sound of Katara's voice. Appa and Momo following. ]

KEEP TALKING I'LL FOLLOW THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE!

What I wouldn't give to be a Metalbender right now. [ It would be so much easier to find her. ]

[ He's smiling. ] I've already found a couple of my friends. They filled me in on the big stuff, but no one's really told me what to do for fun around this place. [ Not that he wouldn't eagerly seek fun on his own. It's simply a strategy for making friends. ]
