[Dante is only halfway to his feet (since he ended up on the bottom of that fall). He raises an arm and blocks the kick, then launches himself up from the floor to try and tackle Vergil.]

[Vergil doesn't really have time to do much reacting before Dante crashes into him, but he braces himself and does at least manage not to land on his ass. He staggers from the blow, grabbing onto Dante wherever he can get a grip, trying to wrestle the other to the ground again. Give him the chance, and he'll try to beat Dante's head in a few times.]

[Dante is going to try and land a few hits on Vergil's torso while getting his head bashed.
The manager comes in to the kitchen and starts yelling about calling the police. Then Dante and Vergil come flying in his direction and he runs away screaming.]
Crap. There goes another job.
[Dante throws himself backwards, trying to break free from Vergil's hold.]
[Vergil actually pauses in his attempts at murdering his brother in his workplace long enough for Dante to jerk free, although Vergil stands ready for another beat down pretty soon.
He has the presence of mind to look around, almost curiously, as if he wants to ask if the manager of the place is really surprised that they would do this. And then he loses interest in the fleeing man and instead draws Yamato, sending a blue arc of energy Dante's way.]
You should have watched it more closely if you didn't want to lose it.
[Yes, Dante, he is actually teasing you this time.]
[The energy hits the wall, smashing sinks, shelves, and part of the stove. Dante had already flung himself to one side. Unfortunately it's not the side of the room where he'd left Rebellion. (For some reason the manager objected to a chef wearing a huge sword.)
He does have his girls though. Ebony and Ivory come out to play, but Dante isn't shooting at Vergil. Instead he shoots the shelves on the wall behind him, showering the area in front of them with flour and tomato sauce from the broken containers.]
I didn't expect my psychotic asshole of a brother to show up and start trashing the place!
[And while Vergil is hopefully getting covered in flour and sauce, Dante dashes to the other side of the room to grab his sword.]
[The first round of shots splatter Vergil in tomato and flour, partly because he wasn't expecting them to go behind him and only knocks a few aside. However, the movement catches his eye and as soon as he sees Dante start to dash, his eyes dart along the course to the goal he's headed for. And then it's a race, with Vergil just a few seconds behind, but aiming to cut Dante off with a blow before he can get to Rebellion.
Regardless of the outcome, Vergil really only has one thing to say to him.]
[Dante's fingers are almost touching Rebellion's hilt when he's suddenly knocked down by Vergil. He goes sliding to one side and rolls up against the freezer door.]
You know other brothers don't attack each other as a way of saying "hi". Maybe we should try it sometime.
[Screw you, Vergil. He pushes himself off the door, but this time he teleports over to his sword and grabs it.]
[It's good exercise. Besides, he didn't even bring up any demon talk, so this is actually a step up from normal. Yamato comes swinging at Dante's head this time, more as a last parting shot from Vergil now that the twin has his sword back.]
Hi.
[There, all better. Now the fight is completely permissible.]
[He's about to make some critical remark, but the loss of force against his sword actually does make him fall. He tumbles forward, losing Yamato since he has to tuck and roll to get back to his feet. But after a glare to Dante, he's moving forward to grab it again.]
[That Vergil is not going to let happen. He lashes out, swinging a wild punch at his brother to keep him from getting hold of the sword.
The other Devil Arms were already an annoying loss. There's no way he's actually going to give up Yamato like that.]
Don't even think about it. [He decides that snatching back his sword is more important than getting a hit in and grabs the katana, pulling back afterward to get some ground.]

His intended attack thwarted, Vergil has to stagger to his feet and angrily kicks at Dante with a snarl of annoyance. Oh, you'll pay for that.]

Is this how you say hi to all your friends? Oh wait...you don't have any, do you?
[He pushes hard, intending to shove Vergil back and away.]

[Actually, he totally had punching matches with his friends. :| But he will never admit that to you, Dante.
Vergil's boots slide back as he's pushed, but he keeps his weight on the crossed blades. Dante won't get him out of range that easily.]

[Fine. Then Dante will pull his sword away and twist to the side. Maybe Vergil's forward momentum will make him fall.]

But hey, if Vergil is going to drop his sword, then Dante is going to make a grab for Yamato...]
