[Video feed begins with Kiriko, having just left Polly's suite, leaning against a piece of wall on the eighth floor. He seems very tired, but compared to his usual crankiness, is rather calm and level-headed at the moment. His right eye, as well, is not covered by his usual dark glasses - an uncanny clear blue, a similar but slightly different shade than it was before. It is focused - he is no longer blind.]
For those of you who were wondering about how Polly is doing, I am relieved to report that she is fine. Her hand couldn't be saved, and she is very frustrated, to be sure, but she will recover completely. Fortunately Eternal biology ensures her hand will grow back in time. If anyone would like to send her their best wishes, I'm sure it would help lift her spirits.
...On that topic, I would like to speak with anyone who has any information regarding the Purists. If you have not heard already, a little over a week ago, Miss Zyanya was violently attacked by a Purist mob. [Sorry Erik, Kiriko seems to have left you out...] She was shot by a laser pistol, and thankfully, lost only her hand. But it could have been much worse, especially if the one who was attacked had been human. This never should have happened, no matter the circumstance. I would like to find out why it did.
Thank you for your time.
[One more thing! Kiriko begins to talk in a more lighthearted, sarcastic tone.]
...As for the person who felt it humorous to sign a blind man up for a job desecrating the graves of the dead, I hope you are very proud of yourself. My employment did not last long and I have not attended a minute of my shift since, especially since my sight has returned. Thankfully I have enough money to pay rent this month, but if it happens again, I'm afraid I will have to find you and skin you alive. Take care.
[He seemed very serious, his last remark. The feed ends abruptly.]
