Thanks Minato. I know you don't know me that well, but I'm glad to hear you say that. I don't want to kill or hurt anyone. I just want to have as normal a life as I can.

I'm... sorry you felt the need to keep it a secret. It must have been hard for you. If that's the type of world you grew up in, then of course you would expect similar treatment here.

I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, but I assure you that there are many people such as yourself here. They may not have brands on their bodies like that or a time limit to complete a task, but many of us can do magick, both offensive and defensive-myself included.

Do you see? I come from a world where magick like this is very common. If anything, I'm glad to know you're more similar to me than I thought! And what you did just now... it was very brave.

Th-thanks Larsa. I knew I wasn't the only one with magic, that's why I finally decided to tell people about it. I'm glad we have something in common too.

And don't worry about the time limit. It hasn't budged since I got here. I don't know how, but something about the ship's drive is freezing it.

[Hope is bothered by that kind of hate too. Mainly because it was a hate that he once had himself before learning that it came not just from fear, but from lies as well.

It was, but that's the thing about l'Cie. You have to either get tough, or die.

[It's been a long time since he's said something like that. Even though he knows he's right, it leaves a bad taste in his mouth.]

I know, but I have friends that trust me. The least I can do is trust them back. And yeah, part of the reason I decided to come clean was because I knew I wasn't the only one with powers here.

We are much more than the things that define us. Wherever it is that your abilities come from, what you do with them will always be more important.

The same hands that guided his young students, helped them grow. That held his newborn son and protected his home.]

The use of multiple elements is quite interesting though I must say. Back home that was rather rare, most specialized in only a few.

Yeah. My friends can use magic too, but I'm the only one who can use the most powerful spells with all elements. I guess it's to make up for the fact that I was the only one of them who didn't know how to fight before I became a l'Cie. My Eidolon's the biggest and strongest too.
