Highly overrated, in my opinion.

Doesn't make it any less of a good name.

Why? Because of its connotations of strength and pride?

If it's a prank, it's an elaborate one. I wouldn't believe any of it if I didn't see my world gone myself.

As the best of tricks are. I myself am not so eager to be fed lies and deceit.

Believe what you will, then.

As for me, I'll just run with it. Even if it wasn't true it's still impossible for me to get back.

For you, it might be. And if the same applies to myself, then I suppose I'll be readjusting, whether I'm to believe what we've been told or not.

...I could do for a temporary change, in any case.

Out of all the things you choose to be disappointed over, it's the name of the ship?

I'm disappointed over a great many things. But the ship's name is the most ridiculous one; everything else is inconvenience and possible deceit.

Oh? Then what would you have named it instead?

The Loki, if that were not already taken. One cannot completely escape vanity in some small for, after all. [an amused grin.]

[Hope doesn't really get the entire first paragraph of what you said so he doesn't touch it. Instead he just.... arches an eyebrow at the second bit.]

Why is the name a shame?

[It's probably just blah blah blah to most people, anyway.]

Because Thor's pride is large enough as it is.

[He just assumes it's something from his world that he's sure makes perfect sense to him, and he doesn't want to be rude...]

You... know a guy called Thor?

[Saves him from tedious explanation, so he'll not question it.]

It is my brother's name.

Much is a shame here as I'm sure you'll soon discover.

I have been told of the ridiculous nature of this ship. That part, I imagine, is not so much a shame as other circumstances.

Do tell. Shame's of interest to me considering I have none.

No shame? I find that difficult to believe. Is there anyone truly exempt from the emotion?

In any case, I was referring to the so-called destruction of our realms. Quite inconvenient. [the way he says it implies that he doesn't complete believe any of it.]
