This may sound like a strange question, and perhaps I should have asked when everyone was much younger than me.... But is it completely unheard of to eat pancakes with hot sauce? There are other unique ingredients, such as soy sauce, but eating new and interesting things is supposed to be fun, correct ( Read more... )

No, but my employer wants a new pancake recipe. Everything even remotely tasty has already been done... so things like hot sauce are all I'm left with.

But hasn't all of that already been done? If spices are commonly compatible, the surely they've been used in recipes.... Do you not agree? The recipe has to be brand new.

They taste exactly what most people imagine they taste like. If you've ever dipped bread in hot sauce... something like that. I was hoping against hope that someone might not find the very idea of pancakes and hot sauce so deplorable.
