[Here you go Tomoe. Have a very tiny child with weird hair just kind of sitting in the middle of the walkway floor and staring up at the high ceiling. He seems an odd mix of discontent and unsure.]

[BUT REGARDLESS, she walks up, assumes quickly that he is a poor unfortunate affected passenger and moves to kneel down just in front of him up.]

The drive seems to have been particularly unfair to you, ne?

[She reaches out with both arms, offering to see if he'll freely move toward her before simply scooping him up.]

[Well his hair is pretty noticeable but these two haven't really talked before so it's okay if she doesn't know who it is. But still.

WHO ARE ALL THESE STRANGERS. Seriously. He doesn't know anyone. He doesn't know where he is. He doesn't know where his royal family is. Or the Court. Or the palace guards. Or anything. It's distressing to his little baby mind. And yet.

Why does the sun never come out? [There's no telling how long he's been sitting there but this is seriously troublesome to someone so used to Ra and Egyptian Gods and the basic necessity of THE SUN.]

[She reaches out and touches one of his arms.]

Nighttime lasts for a long time here... but the sun will come out again.

[He continues staring up at the dumb ceiling lights and it makes him sort of sad to hear that. Night time was scary, and cold, and he wasn't allowed out in it. He liked daytime much better.

The touch only draws his attention towards her face but he doesn't shy away.]

There are a lot of children here waiting for their parents... will you come with me until they come for you? It is much safer in groups.
