Uniforms would make everything appear more professional. [ He likes uniforms. He even wears his even though he's freelance. ] Though freelance agents being temp employees, it would be unreasonable to expect them to purchase attire. A simple dress code while they are performing Preventer duties would not be unwarranted however.

What are your thoughts on having them rent uniforms should they wish? Ah...but what would the dress code entail though? We have to be culturally sensitive.

If you are looking for a code that fits alien body types, you will find there isn't one. There will be exceptions when they are necessary. For what little we know, the color blue may be offensive to someone and the uniform itself may already be a problem. You can really only tailor a code to fit the culture we are used to and then work from there.

As the saying goes: flying by the seat of our pants? Strangely appropriate.

It will have to do. [ He has a slight smile of amusement, but it's easy to hear the edge of it in his voice. ]

You don't plan to change the Preventer uniform, do you?

Most definitely not. I am, however, open to having someone design alternative uniforms. It did come in several different styles back home.

[ Wufei was partial to the one he had. It was simple and practical. ]

I am not fond of the dress uniform. If designs of it were lost, I would not be disappointed.

Think of the tie as a noose?

The tie has to be one of the most useless accessories to fashion ever invented.

Corporate leash.

I like wearing it though for some reason.

That's probably the most accurate description I have ever heard. You won't catch me in it. [ He'll fall back to traditional Chinese wear for formal things if he has to. That tie is not touching his person. ]

I thankfully don't have a dress version with me. My other uniform is the same as the one I arrived with this time. [And this is where he gets the idea to actually check that other uniform. He'll be cranky next response. ]

Just dress appropriately. Since this isn't the Earth Sphere, I suppose we can be a bit more lax.

[ The next response would have been that Chang Wufei would dress no other way, but instead it's a brief mutter about how much he hates communicating with this ridiculous contraption. It ends just as abruptly as this does, and with no explanation. ]
