holiday events!
'Tis the Season, Deck the Halls, Joy to the World, Et cetera et cetera.
Holiday Time infects everywhere, even the S.S. Thor! As you wander about the station, you may notice things are looking a little more festive than usual~
Evergreen boughs and tiny colored lights adorn the halls of the residential area whether your character likes it or not. Rip 'em down and the maintenance robots will replace 'em within hours, as well as deliver an eerily knowledgeable bill to your front door! Failure to pay your bill in a timely manner results in cheerful but off-key X-Mas carols being sung by your bedroom door until you pony up. Don't be such a Scrooge, it's the holidays!
In the public areas, things are even more festive, with plenty of fake snow (made with 100% recycled real snow!), even more evergreen boughs, lights, and related paraphernalia, aaaaand...an ice skating rink! Nestled within the festive heart of the extremely festive mall, this large, picturesque ice rink is perfect for a romantic date or a large, rowdy gathering of friends! ...Though maybe not at the same time.
Also, to mark this, the first day of December, your character will find a complimentary chocolate on his or her pillow.
Note: There will of course be an X-mas event coming up in two weeks or so. Details will be posted closer to that time!
We know there are a lot more holidays around now than just X-mas, but we can't know about them all. (And the ones we have heard of, we probably don't know anything about. >.>) SO. If anyone wants us to mention a holiday or plot something around one, let us know! Comment either here or to the suggestions post with info about the holiday, and we'll see what we can do. :D
