[In Person]
[[Matt's spent a huge portion of his paycheck on items and merchandise that has to do with his world back home. He's got the series, the books, the LA BB Case books, L Change the world, Misa and Light's Replica Death Notes -- so on so forth. He's a variable Death Note collector now

His smile blooms out further while he takes a look over her costume.]]
Well well, if it isn't Pirate Rikku. Are you trying to say you're bootlegged?
[[Geek joke, but he figures she'll get it anyway.]]
Nupe. I found a series I'm real fond of, been buying up what I can find to do with it.

That being said Rikku does find your joke worthy of a nerd-to-nerd laugh, just not over the prospect of it happening to her. She's thinking more along the lines of how it's been happening to others.]
Please, no one could copy this if they tried~
[Adjusts her own armful of clustered plush goods, nodding with sincere interest.] Oh yeah? So what series would that be?
[ooc: I swear I'm done editing this. /faaaail.]

So he and Rikku both shared the same problems. They were both 'fake'. But it's kinda interesting she's fake in his world and maybe he's fake in other people's worlds. ..No he IS fake in others' worlds.
He lifts his bag, one of them, and then shrugs a shoulder.]]
Some series called 'Death Note'. I got a couple others, too, but this Death Note one caught my eye I guess. [[He nods his head toward her stash in a questioning manner.]] What'd you manage to nab there, Oh Piratey one?

Just doing some apartment shopping for my new place~
[Rikku's smile only brightens and she shimmies with excitement, finding herself unable to keep from giggling out the response. Man, it really is awesome being able to call something her own without having to tag "oh, and my roomies" to the end of it.]

'ey Congrats on the new place! We're moving too, somewhere... I dunno where. I'll just keep following Mello around until he ends up in a room that looks like a housey thing. Where's your new place?

[And with that question - Um, well, heh heh. About that. - Rikku winces slightly, her smile exposing a more sheepish quality. Maybe she could fake a location? Give him a "y'know... it's, like, third door on the left of that one floor above that other one if you're standing on the ceiling" or something so completely confusing she'll lose him halfway through and he'll just nod his head, pretending to be listening and won't ask questions... No, wait, that didn't work last time.]
[Oh crap, she's sort of burning through the acceptable silence time, huh? Yeah, she is.]
[Okay, you're done thinking about this, Rikku, no more time for you! Thrusts forward a badly scribbled on left hand for him to see, laughing through the egg on her face in a desperate attempt to not feel foolish for having written the directions on her palm.] And apparently you're not the only one who doesn't have the where part down. Heh heh.
