[Kim is bored.]
[Big shock right?]
[So the choices were either get a bottle of tequila and spend the night in a drunken haze or support the local video store and rent out a movie. Or she could very well do both. She is a multitasker after all.]
[The video catches Kim casually looking up and down the Japanese Horror aisle, a paper bag casually in her hand, not really looking for anything in particular. Looks like a lot of things from No-Account made it in. Nice, but didn't give her anything really new to look at.]
Seen it. Seen it. Seen it.
[Huh, here's something. Kim takes a case of the shelf, looks at it, and promptly puts it back with a sigh. How can a collection be so extensive, yet suck so much at giving anything new?]
Alright, quiz time. What makes the better movie night: something really gory and horrible with rubber limbs and buckets of red corn syrup, or is it the movie that gets psychological and really messes with your head, makes you question mortality and the state of human existence?
[A beat.]
Or maybe I should just rent a kids movie. Probably end up in the same place no matter what I watch.
