[The residents of Thor would be treated to the sight of a teenager with a rather unusual hair style, bangs swept over one side of his face and a serious green eye studying the device as he seemed to be walking down a hallway. For those who might remember, he'd arrived the day before. This time, he didn't seem aware he'd pressed the record

Do you know that girl, Barton?
Reply
[He turned a blank look to the Guide, no recognition showing and trying not to show his irritation at having accidentally turned the video feed on.]
Yes.

She's been speaking with Nataku. Should I be concerned?
Reply
[And Midii had been talking to her... He gave the question a moment of consideration.]
That would depend on the nature of their conversations.

But there is a chance she is a cause for concern then?
I am not one to take chances where Nataku is concerned.

There is always a chance for concern.
[But then he hesitated. Midii did seem... different. Less sure of herself. He glanced away from the Guide to look after where the girl had run, considering whether he should say that much.]
[But really, he did want to be able to trust the girl again. And if that meant not sabotaging any possible friendship she'd made on the ship, he could do that. Carefully.]
I'm playing it by ear.

[He hesitates, and then continues. There is no point in beating around the bush.]
You don't recognize me, do you?
Reply
[He turned his gaze back to the Guide and shook his head slightly.]
I assume we met the last time I was on board. I would prefer you not call me Barton, that isn't me. I don't have a name.
[Calm. Collected. Not easily giving away the fact it bothered him to be called a name that belonged to a man who had been a live last he'd seen him.]

No, we certainly did not meet here.
And while I know Barton was never your real name, I did not meet you until after you had taken up using it. You must be from before we . . . modified . . . Operation Meteor. That is quite the time difference.
I am the pilot chosen by Master O, who is a colleague of Doktor S. You can find the Gundam Altron in the hanger.
My name is Chang Wufei, and I'm pilot 05.

[And finally someone was explaining certain things. He listened carefully, studying what he could see of 'Chang Wufei'. Pilot 05. Master O. Doktor S... At least the latter he recognized, other than Operation Meteor. So they had actually done it. Decided to say hell with the plan and do something else.]
[Which meant what he could do was known to others on the ship, not just Midii. That was both disturbing, and a relief.]
[It also meant that he would accept being called Trowa or Barton, to an extent, and only if he knew just how they'd known him.]
I heard rumors about that. Who won?

There is a lot you need to be caught up on. [He pauses.] Assuming you want to know. You've been given an unique opportunity to remain unaware.
If calling you Barton will bother you, I can address you with something else. [And the "I have no name" makes it pretty clear he doesn't know about the circus, or about being "Triton Bloom" either, so Wufei doesn't suggest it.]

[It made sense to him that the peace was complicated. If he was asked, he would wonder what people like him did. What kept them occupied and useful.]
Whatever you're willing to tell me is fine.
No Name or Nanashii is more accurate.

After the initial launch of Operation Meteor, we went our separate ways, coming together only when intel pointed us the same place. We did as much until faulty information led us to disaster.
After that, things were further complicated, but it proved to be an advantage to work together. I'm sure that without cooperation we probably would have ended in failure.

[He listened carefully then gave a slight nod of understanding. Working as a group was often more efficient than working alone if the goal and target were the same.]
[That was the clinical side of thought. Nanashii knew there could be more to it that Wufei wasn't saying, something he wanted to know.]
How many gundams were made?

OZ would later design the Mecurius and the Vayaete, though they didn't get much use out of them, they were in turn rebuilt later.
Epyon, as found in the hanger, is Khushrenada's design.
Reply
[Just as it made sense for the gundams to have sustained enough damage to have needed to be completely rebuilt.]
When was Khushrenada here?
[Obviously he wasn't anymore, Nanashii would have noticed the name.]
