Anyone whose shoes had gone missing, come pick them up before my desk gains a permanent smell.

[he knocks a few shoes off his desk to clear a spot for his cactus as the feed times out]

You never know when you might miss an announcement.

Besides, considering who our Captains are rumored to be, I don't exactly trust them to warn us of all impending dangers.

I think it'd be difficult to tell whose shoes belonged to whom, unless they have particularly distinctive feet, but it's appreciated anyway.
