I believe it is time we met. I will be at the hangar.

[If they were curious enough and concerned enough about their machines, they would come. Of that, Tieria was certain. If they did not, then Tieria was not interested since that most likely meant they would not be using them often.]

[Wufei actually gets this while he's in Epyon, and wonders if it was intended for Khushrenada. He almost responds with a notice to let them know that he's gone, but he'd rather find out what is going on first.]

What are you after?

[Tieria raised an eyebrow at the question. He looked around first, trying to see if any of the other suits were active, then responded.]

I'm merely trying to ascertain who owns the other mechs in the hangar. I'd like to know who I'm sharing space with for storage.

[And if he can trust those others around his own Gundam.]

[Process of elimination gives Wufei a clear picture of which Gundam this unfamiliar pilot must be in. He adjusts Epyon's outside camera's to get a better visual on it.]

You should introduce yourself first before inquiring such from others.

[The eyes were lit, indicating the Gundam was indeed active, but only the computer was up and running for the sake of communication. As a result, Wufei could probably get a fairly good read on the machine with his sensors without the GN Drive running. If Wufei panned his visual feed down, he'd see a young person with shoulder length purple hair and large glasses who didn't look like much sitting on the foot and using a Guide.]

Beyond informing someone that I am from Celestial Being, introductions don't come from Gundam Meisters first in my world.

However... [And he stood, now that he could see which suit was scanning thanks to the operating lights. He faced Epyon directly.] Since this is clearly not my world... I am Tieria Erde, Gundam Meister of the Gundam Seravee.

We don't do them either. When we pilot, usually seeing us means the other side is about to die. There is no need for introductions. I wouldn't have made them either way.

But we aren't at war, and part of the peace is to at least appear like we're amiable, isn't it?

Hello, Tieria Erde. I am Chang Wufei, and I'm officially the pilot of the Gundam Altron. It is two suits to your left.

[He scans the readings Epyon is feeding him. The Seravee appeared to be designed for a heavy assault. It stood a bit taller than his own Gundam, and weighed nearly nine times as much. All the Gundams from "home" seemed light weight in comparison. This one must be built entirely different. And from the readings, Epyon was having trouble determining some of the materials. It must be a composite compound, and it certainly didn't have the ultracompact fusion reactors Wufei was used to. That was curious, and he wanted to know more. Otherwise it looked like a thicker version of the other Gundams and even the head piece seemed similar in design. Visually, it ( ... )

[Okay, point there. Miss Sumeragi had always tried to operate on the policy of least possible casualties, so the idea of automatically assuming the opponent was doomed to die was a bit extreme compared to Tieria's normal tactics.]

If we have to defend this vessel again, we'll need to work together. A working relationship would be preferrable to ignoring each other.

[Interesting.]

Two Gundams? Is one a remote unit to the other?

[After all, Raphael had Seravee II, and Seravee originally was meant to have several Seraphim units had they still been connected to VEDA when the Gundam was finally developed.

And one other thing...]

Are you willing to meet face-to-face?

It would. [That's how Quatre got them to unit in the first place.] Most of the pilots here are familiar with working with each other. A few will be friendly. Don't be offended when Yuy isn't.

[Wufei turns off the scan and starts powering Epyon done, as his latest round of diagnostics were finished.]

No. Altron is mine. Epyon was left in my care. I'll be keeping it battle ready should the need for it ever arise.

[Wufei opens his cockpit to step out and make himself visible, keeping his guide with him so he can be easily heard.]

Certainly.

[Tieria nodded as the other man emerged.]

Heero Yuy has already displayed the business end of his firearm for me, and that was after I used Seravee to help dispatch those worm-like creatures on the Sigrun.

[He wasn't exactly social himself. Part of this meeting up of the other pilots was his own way of screening who was going to be in this hangar around Seravee other than himself, after all.]

So, is Epyon's pilot gone, then?

Then you received his usual hello. [Wufei took a bit of pride at being able to handle this sort of thing better than Yuy, even though Wufei knows he's rather off-putting to most people.]

Epyon's pilot will leave when the Sif does. Unlike others, I don't think salvaging it for parts is the best option. Things change around here far too quickly to risk not having it operational.

[Wufei makes his way to the floor to approach. While they could hear each other fine with the guide, he prefers first conversations to happen face to face. One can better judge body language in person than through video.]

[Seeing him decide to approach, Tieria waited this time to answer until Wufei was close enough. He slipped the Guide back into his own pocket.]

I can appreciate his caution. [Trust was an uneasy thing among Gundam pilots, it seemed.]

I see. I hadn't considered salvaging it for parts. [Mostly because it wasn't his to touch, and Tieria respected that, at least.] Besides, if your observation is correct, having a fully operational spare mobile suit is preferrable to having merely extra parts. [They had repaired Exia and the 0-Gundam for a reason back home... and having them had turned into a benefit, for sure, in addition to the GN Archer and R2 mobile suits.] I am surprised the original owner didn't take it with him.

He claims to wish to start a new life, free of what happened before.

I don't particular trust it, but I would have trusted him less if he wanted to take it with him. He's not a man I'd want moving about the galaxy unsupervised with a mobile suit in his pocket. I'd have rather preferred he didn't go at all . . . .

He's the kind of man who can't help but write history, and he wants it to be his.

[That sounded like a few people Tieria knew of back home...]

Interesting, then, that he would be willing to leave behind something that would give him an advantage. [Just an observation really. Tieria wasn't discounting Wufei's distrust of the original owner by any means.]

It isn't the first time he's intended to leave something in the hands of someone who he thinks will use it. He works all things into his plans, including how his enemies will use his resources.

He wanted battle to be as bloody and terrible as possible, so that the world would finally be shocked into wanting peace for good. He was brilliant and foolish all at once.

[Almost like Aeolia Schoenberg's plan...]

Like creating a common enemy to bring the world together.

That's it exactly.

So the universe itself is better off with him and the machine parted. Our world may be gone, but I'm sure there are other ways he can disrupt or unifying us behind a cause.

Is unification so bad?
