*Before long, Billy seemed to have himself a tag along. Following behind him with a curious sort of look in his eyes that simply begged to ask the question:*
How are you doing that?
*...well, no reason to assume it anymore, I guess.*
Re: [action]magicfanboyApril 17 2011, 09:20:38 UTC
[Oh god why is he being followed. Creepy. Weird. O-]
Uhm... [He stops moving, but he's still floating mid-air.]
That's...How do I explain it...You see. I don't know? [Stupid answer. Sorry.]
I mean! I just can. It's just an ability...I have. I don't know how to explain it. [Nervous now. He forgets that flying isn't normal to everyone. And here he was trying to not get attention.]
Oh my god did you just compare me to Superman? [Okay Billy fourthwalls a lot. He's a complete and utter geek/nerd. So yeah.] I wish I was Superman, that would be so cool!
[Floating people? Just another day on the Thor. Itachi has not been here long, not at all, but he's already rather used to the diversity of passengers, from the refugees to the residents.]
[Now, under normal circumstances? He would not bother with the newcomer. He would not give the stranger a second glance.]
[But these are not normal circumstances, and refugees, it seems more and more, need to stick together. So when a moment's casual observation from his place working on wire maintenance (it pays to keep an eye on your surroundings, especially when the residents are ramping up hostilities) at least gives him reasonable assurance that the teenager is likely both lost and not a resident, he speaks up, setting down his tools and standing.]

[He jumps...wait how can he jump while floating? Well apparently he's somehow done just that. But anyways.]
Uhm...Yes?
[He's obviously a little more then just nervous. Being a new arrival and not knowing anyone and where you are does that. But if the guy was going to ask him whether he was lost or not, maybe he'd help him too. Or pick on him. He's really hoping it's not the latter, but he's not going to pretend that isn't an option.]
Really lost. I guess you can tell I'm new... [He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly.]
Easily. [Itachi agrees. His deadpan is calm enough it's hard to really tell if he means it as a sarcastic comment or just a flat agreement. Maybe a bit of both.]
[He assumes the other has at least accomplished orientation, considering they're communicating. The stranger either got his babelfish from the Vogons or has his own means of translation.]
Re: [Action]magicfanboyApril 17 2011, 21:35:25 UTC
[Oh. Right. He's saying dumb things so of course he's going to get snarky replies back. Sob.
He's not completely hopeless. Although he was told recently about the map which is slightly helpful except he's kind of looking for people more so then a specific place at the moment.]
[Shuuichi stared at the floating boy for a while - another person with powers! So cool! So jealous! When he hears the names being called out, Shuuichi decides to speak up.]
Try the list of refugees, you can see if your friends' names are there.

[Flinches instinctively turning towards wherever that voice came from. Oh...okay so he usually doesn't see that hair color around. Usually. Especially on a guy.]
There's a list? [Oh that makes finding out whether they're dead or alive even easier.]

It looks really cool though. You sort of look like a young Superman.

Mmmh-mmm! Check your guide! [It was kinda weird, nodding while looking up. He takes out his own guide and shows Billy how to access the list.] See?

Oh! [Oh this guide thing. He's going to have to get used to it.] I see now. Thanks.
