21 ✿ accidental video
[the feed cuts in to Xion, sitting down and facing opposite her Guide. she's writing in a small journal-actual pen and paper, as opposed to some piece of technology. she seems to be narrating what she's writing.]
Today... makes it Day 365. I can't believe I've been on this ship for a whole year. That means it's my birthday in a couple of weeks, too, huh? So many things have happened since I came here... I'll be here forever if I listed them all. But, I guess the most important thing is that I'm... happy with my life. Good and bad things have happened. I've made new friends, and lost some, too. I've reunited with people I never thought I'd see again, discovered things about myself I would have never thought of before. I've even found love. Even now, things may not be going well right now with the Sigrun situation, but I'm still doing the best I can to rescue the people who are stuck there.
[she sits as if in deep thought for a few moments. then, someone from a distance aways off-screen calls her name. she emerges from her reverie and glances up at that, and calls out:]
I'm coming!
[she takes a few seconds to stare at her unfinished entry, before shaking her head and closing the tiny notebook.]
I can finish later. There are still plenty of people I need to help right now.
[she then slips it into her pocket and stands up, raising her hood and drawing it. a point of note: for the first time in months, she's wearing her Organization coat. the observant person may be able to notice she's not entirely enthused by this, but she does what's necessary. the video keeps rolling for about five minutes, until someone comes by and picks up her Guide. whoever it is walks in the general direction she did, managing to catch her as she prepares to step into a swirling purple and black vortex that appeared with a wave of her hand.]
Oh, did I leave that behind? Thank you. [she smiles as she accepts the Guide, and right before she steps into the portal, she turns it off.]
