How fascinating...
[The man’s voice was mildly amused as he spoke. At first, it was more as an aside to himself than directed at anyone. Then, showing his awareness that he was broadcasting, he spoke a bit louder than the soft murmur he had used to start with, even as there were quiet sounds of machinery being fiddled with-likely the Guide itself, considering the screen flickered to life to show a young man with (for those who recognized it) Wufei Chang's room library in the background.
A faint smile of polite greeting settled comfortably on his lips as he leaned back in the chair, a book set aside (with a rock as a place marker) as he directed his words to the Guide.]
I understand there are a number of individuals who are familiar with me. If they would give me a few minutes of their time, it would be appreciated.
To those whom I have yet to meet, greetings. I look forward to becoming acquainted with each of you.
