[Stein is on the planet, mostly because he has to be--he's a shuttle conductor. He's even wearing a white conductor's hat. But you can't see that at first, because the camera is focused on a little scribble he seems to have brought to life. It looks kind of like a little dough boy; it's about four inches tall and is all round curves, with the exception of its cone nose and the little claws on its hands and feet. It should be obvious that Stein had something to do with its creation, though, because there's a giant screw planted in its head and a smaller screw piercing each of its arms. For that matter, for anyone who would care to notice, the little creature has stitch marks in all the same places Stein does.
The camera stays focused on the scribble as it waddles over to Stein with a morose expression on its face and gingerly shakes a single finger that he's extended, then Stein turns the guide around so that his face is visible.]
Isn't the wildlife on this planet fascinating? You can literally create on a whim.
[The scribble creature makes a warbled noise that sort of resembles the word "woaaaaah", and Stein pauses his little speech to rub its chin with his finger. He's apparently quite fond of his creation.]
It's almost like being a god. Should mere mortals be able to wield this kind of power?...
[For a moment his expression could be described as almost fanatical, but it passes quickly enough and a cheery smile takes its place.]
Oh right! If you took shuttle number [NUMBER], we're leaving for the Thor in an hour. Don't be late!~
[ooc: the creature looks like a much smaller, less transparent version of
this. action is welcome to folks hanging out on the planet!]
