[It's time for the entertainment section of the daily news, kids, and tuning in right now you will see the entertainment reporter, an alien lady that is mostly humanoid except for her four arms, purple skin, and a set of fins on top of her head in lieu of hair]
This is definitely an exciting time of year, Gro'klrrh, the Cirque du Galaxie is now on the SS Thor and we are live, on-scene at the carnival grounds, where the next show will be on, tonight! [The camera zooms out a bit and moves, and the alien woman is shown to be standing next to a giant... squid-like thing that doesn't appear to have a gender or mouth to speak of] With me here, is Shhhsshhhooolmmmnn, one of the stage managers for Cirque du Galaxie, and we're going to talk about some of the sideshows you can come down and see, right now, before the main event tonight! So, Shhhsshhhooolmmmnn, tell our audience out there on the rest of the Thor what sort of things we can see as freak show acts!
Well, you are in luck! We happen to be standing right in front of one of the acts, someone we picked up from the Refugees of the SS Thor for a unique ability she was shown to have. May I present to you... the Amazing Dimensional Wonder!
[The camera then pans a bit and zooms in on a stage set up a short distance to the side of, and behind the two aliens. On it! Is Yukari.
... Except she seems to be asleep.
The two aliens give a long, long pause. And she doesn't move. Not except to breathe]
...
...
[Nope, still nothing. The squid-creature walks... slides... floats... moves forward somehow and climbs the short staircase onto the stage. It's unclear whether the creature is angry or confused, but it reaches out with a tentacle and pokes Yukari. She still doesn't move. So it then decides to try to shake her awake.
And she stirs, propping herself up with one arm and yawning.]
... You're supposed to be entertaining, human.
... Human? [Oh, she spoke. She seems sleepily confused]
... Yes, human, now get up and entertain.
[There's a definite pause, before, with another yawn, Yukari stands up and walks to the edge of the stage. She still looks a little sleepy but now there's definitely a mischievous gleam in her eyes]
[She holds out a hand and a sukima appears. She reaches into it to pull out her parasol, which she then opens and lets sit on her shoulder. There's some oos and ahhs from a couple of people that have started to gather for a crowd. She then sits on the sukima, and it prompts more noises of wonder.
She then reaches back, and motions for the squid to move closer to her, and it does] For my first act... I'm going to make this stage manager disappear.
[And a sukima swallows the squid creature before it even has the chance to make a noise of protest. Instead of seeming freaked out, the crowd makes some more awed noises. There's more of them gathering now.]
For my second act... the camera shall change hands.
[And the camera suddenly jerks, shifts, goes black for a second, and suddenly it is looking out over the crowd, at the reporter some distance away, and at a very confused young man that looks perfectly human - he must've been the cameraman]
And for my third act...
[A sukima opens from somewhere shortly above both of them, and out of it... falls the squid-creature, bellyflopping on top of the news crew. The crowd cheers, and Yukari chuckles, before turning the camera back to herself] Is that entertainment enough...? [she laughs more, and the feed cuts]
[ooc: Yukari is the best/worst sideshow act ever. Black text is her speaking, green is the reporter, obviously, and red is the stage manager]
