Nineteenth Hope [video]
[The feed comes on to show Hope sitting in bed wearing his pajamas (surprise, they're orange) coughing slightly. His voice is a teeny bit hoarse, but nothing too bad.]
Uh, hey. Sorry I haven't been around lately. I came down with something, and I just didn't have the energy to go on the guide, or even leave my room for longer than a few minutes. B-but, I'm feeling way better, so I should be back to normal soon.
[From off screen, a little whining sound can be heard. Hope looks over the edge of the bed, smiles and reaches down to pick up this.]
Oh yeah, we got a new roommate. This is Kai. He was Fang's pet for a while, but...
[And then he looks kind of sad.]
She's gone now. Vanille and Snow too.
[He continues looking sad until Kai starts curiously sniffing his face and gives him a little lick on the nose. This snaps Hope out of it and he smiles sadly at the little joey and scratches him behind the ear.]
So until she comes back, I'm gonna take care of him. Roommates, don't worry about him being any trouble. He mainly just sticks around me. If you wanna try feeding him or something though, go ahead. He'll love you after that.
(OOC: SO yeah, explaining Hope's absence with the tried and true space-cold cliche. /shrugs
