[A small assortment of ingredients could be seen nicely ordered on the counter. The usual stuff: cinnamon, chocolate bars, bits of candy cane, whole milk, and heavy cream. Yeah, it doesn't take much to figure out what Echo's doing with that ladel and steaming pot. From the looks of it, making hot fudge.]

Well, some people enjoy cooking. If you only see it as a job, it might not seem nearly as fun.
