[The feed turns on just as a bell rings out. The camera shows a classroom in the beginning of a period; the students are just settling down, though there is still much talking. Judging by the age of human students, this appears to be a high school-level course. The large alien teacher in the corner stands up from his desk and heads to start the lesson. The guide is then turned around, Patchouli's face. she does not appear too pleased. She speaks in a hushed tone as the teacher starts talking.]
I can't believe those employers. They wouldn't give me the teaching or librarian job here because apparently I'm under-experienced. I've been reduced to a mere assistant for this bumbling excuse for a professor. I'll be recording the session to gather evidence of this thing's incompetence to get it out of here and me assigned to a teacher who knows what they're doing or just take over this class myself.
[She turns the guide back around to focus on the teacher.]
...So yeah. That's enough 'bout me. As for the class... what is this, ah... oh. Introductory Vogon Bureaucracy. ...Eh. They like to have everything in text. In triplicate, if they can help it. Yeah that's about all I know. I'll just let you all do whatever and-
[The yell came from Patchy, immediately behind the camera. All of the students and the teacher turn towards her.]
What is the meaning of this? This is a pointless subject, yes, but that does not excuse you for doing nothing else. You're supposed to be a teacher.
Well, yeah, but I can't exactly teach what I don't know.
Well then teach something else, lazy buffoon!
Feh. Too much effort. You're the assistant. If you want to do somethin', then do it.

[Patchy walks out into view of the camera in front of the class. The teacher steps aside back to his own desk as she takes over. The students don't seem to have any idea what's going on. she clears her throat and starts, almost as if she had planned this lecture..]
Good morning, class. I am Patchouli Knowledge. I shall be acting as your teacher for the time being, now that the incompetent rat has been taken care of. Given that the subject the superiors want to teach us is useless, I shall take the liberty of teaching instead an introductory elemental magics class. I shall issue a textbook later this week, but for now just take notes. We won't waste any time.
