"The Reward" - good film, but same old same old.

There's a film going around on Vimeo, a 9-minute animated short called The RewardLots of people are gushing over it. I liked the storyline and the theme, and found the animation decent. My only gripe is the usual one with fantasy material: Once again, and for the umpteenth time, a kaleidoscopic fantasy world, full of colors shapes sizes and sexes,

I saw it. Thought it was okay, but as you say, awfully familiar.

It did lead me to some other short animated films I hadn't known about though, so I had some fun with that. I'm waaaay behind on what's happening in animation these days. (I kind of dropped out when everything started looking like it was imitating the style of Beavis and Butthead.)

Oh, and this one made me giggle.
