Fun with Taro Plants

I'm going to do an honest to goodness fish pond this year. So while I am waiting for it to quit raining long enough to pour concrete and lay blocks and all that good stuff, I've been cycling filter media, swiping below water plants from my fishtanks and quarentining the new fish that are going in with my two year old goldies. Thanks! I'm pretty excited about it. Two years ago I did a still pond in a stock waterer. I really liked it and have wanted to do a more permanent installation ever since.

My dad had a fish pond, and cats were a problem. After a few years, the pond only had smallish brown green "goldfish" in it. The hunting pressure deselected the large and colorful fish.
