Speaking of hot peppers...

I picked these habaneros from my garden and from a few plants in pots last weekend. I sent them along with departing houseguests to a friend in their town, because unlike a lot of the fine folk here, my palate can't handle the arse-nukes (heh--that's what the hubby calls them)! I have several gallons of habaneros this year. Usually I make jelly and hot sauce with them, sometimes I go crazy, stuff them with horseradish, dip them in tabasco, and eat them whole. My face burns for days AND IT'S WORTH IT.

Also, they freeze well.

Do you freeze them whole? Chopped?

You can do either way. If you're chopping them already and have gloves on, go for it. If not, you can throw them whole (unblanched) in a ziplock and toss them in. Treat them as you would bell peppers (only with anticipation that you might get BURNED).
