my excellent greenhouses and my excellent girlfriend

Today I had plans for working on Lottie (no that's not my girlfriend, it's my allotment) but my body didn't agree. So off went girlfriend to strim Lottie's paths while I potted up some aubergines and sweet peppers for the greenhouses. And I sowed some butternut squash seeds. She's a keeper! I'm not sure Ian has ever bought me unsolicited seeds or plants, but he does haul and weed and water when needed so I don't have any complaints. I can't quite claim I'm as reasonable when he wants me to go to the comic shop with him...

Would you want him to give you seeds or plants you hadn't chosen? I hate that actually, on the rare occasions anybody tries it, because they usually give me something totally unsuitable! I confess these butternut seeds weren't unsolicited. I put them on the shoppign list and showed OH the old seed packet!

Comics. Hmm. You could slip a gardening book into your handbag to keep yourself entertained while waiting for him...
