When should I plant outside?

I'm working on my first vegetable garden. I built two raised beds and filled them with a mixture of vermiculite, compost and peat moss. My seedlings are started inside and some are looking stronger than others. I'm wondering when I should put them outside. I live on the zone 5B-6 line. Find out when the last hard freeze is in your area and the onions, lettuce & spinach can go out after that. I wait until after the first spell of really warm weather warms up the soil and plant/transplant as soon as it cools off again, but plants like tomatoes and peppers must stay indoors until after the last frost, and beans also prefer warmer weather.
