Update to my garden...

Well, I've had some successes and some failures in my raised bed veggie garden already.  The failures include most (but not all) of the pea plants-I planted 24 of them and they all came up.  Then a month later we were down to about 12, and now I'm at about 4.  The 4 that are left look healthy and are putting out tons of pea pods, so I don't get why ( Read more... )

If you have more sandy-loam, Habanero Peppers will work well; if not, Jalapeno peppers should work.

sorry to hear about your losses, I planted hundreds of pea seeds and none are coming up yet.
I hope you can find replacements for some of them.

I have always had incredible luck with tomatoes, too. *knocks on wood* But I can't say I am blessed with particularily green thumbs otherwise. At least not flower-wise, I think I cuddle them to death, or something. I'm better with bushes and veggies. Zinnias are hard to mess up, eh? Looks like I will have to grow some of those, then! :D
