I understand that some people have wondered if I have been reading the community/maintaining it. I do read (I have the community both on my lj friends list and a separate feed reader), however I do not always get to everything within 12 hours

Good for you in extracting yourself from your situation, and while you miss the garden--I still feel a pang for the one I left in my divorce--the cure is definitely a new garden of your own.

Good for you for getting out and staying out. That's always the hardest part. Glad you have a garden, it’s such a great way to focus your mind and energy on something that is both productive and beautiful. It helps when other parts of your life aren't especially productive and beautiful at the moment.

Hello Marty and thanks for letting us know how you are. Your running of this excellent community is very much appreciated. I'm sorry to learn that you've recently needed to escape abuse and relocate, even leaving behind your garden. But I'm glad that your new home includes a garden and I hope you'll post about it when you want to.
