Much empathy about excess rain and snow. So frustrating for us gardeners. I hope where you are the cold winters help to keep pests down. Meanwhile yes composting and seed-starting are joyous!

Thank you. I've realised in the last few days that if I'm going to keep mentioning my health on this community I should be up-front about it. I have multiple sclerosis. I'm not going to stop having it but there are good ways of managing the disease to slow its progression. For me, gardening is one of those - well, I think so - certainly exercise is a good thing and gardening is about the only kind of exercise I can still do. I love the fact that Lottie gives me fresh air to breathe and a chance to be outdoors in nature. In the past I was a keen hillwalker and there used to be a competition between Lottie and the hills! Now Lottie wins and what a joy she is ( ... )

Yes I do get a lot out of moving around on Lottie. The benefis are physical, emotional, social and oh yes! culinary :-)
