A question about sweet potatoes made me ready to post

I've never posted here, but I wanted to share my photos of my sweet potatoes from last summer.  They are here at my journal.

did you treat them like regular potatos, in terms of care?

Prior to the harvest, they aren't like regular potatoes. They make a prolific vine that flowers. But under ground they are growing. So just around frost (for me this is by Oct 10) I pulled the vine and dug into the furrows to find the sweet potatoes. Once they were harvested from the ground they should be kept covered in their dirt until you are ready to eat them.

I've grown ornamental sweet potatos.. they're treated exactly the same way
