I use Deer Off to chase away the bunnies and deer. It's a spray made from hot peppers, garlic and eggs. It won't hurt the critters, but smells and tastes bad.

If it is bunnies, human hair and marigolds should help. Nothing will help with squirrels.

Marigolds! That explains why they were untouched all of last year! I planted them late and already had marigolds in the ground.

Hi,jack Russel dogs are an excellent deterrent.lol.Benji saw one yesterday while we were out walking, good thing he was on the lead or we would have lost him. In a more serious note i have seen metal mesh cages put around plants to keep the little devils out.You would need to dig down about twelve inches below the surface to deter them from digging under the cage.
Best wishes

blood meal. just sprinkle it around them, it's good for the soil too. You'll have to replenish after rain.

The bunnies were going to town on my Tropicannas, so I put a rubber snake on the ground where they usually come through the fence, and they haven't munched since. I do this to keep birds away from my tomatoes as well. Of course, I forget that I have rubber snakes out there and scare the crap out of myself every time I turn around, since I live in rattlesnake territory... lol
