[An hour or so after dawn on the 31st and a little before it starts storming, the mun got confused on the weather calendar, the sound of water splashing can be heard over the journals. This little girl woke up to much confusion, but she also woke up outside for the first time that she can remember and amazement has temporarily displaced alarm.

[There's a man out for a walk in the woods. Probably asking for it given the recent string of murders and the fact a giant wolf lives out there, but dammit if he doesn't enjoy having a cigarette to himself. But when he spots a little girl... in the typical New Feather gear, he can't help but be suspicious. It was a day early, wasn't it?]

[The little girl turns when she hears someone approaching, and the sight of a man who's awfully bigger than her with a stern expression makes her nervous. Her first thought is she's been caught sneaking out--even though she didn't remember actually sneaking out--but he doesn't look like someone who'd be working with the professor. She musters a smile, though her fingers are fidgeting with her dress.] Hello? ...oh, is this your book, mister?

[He shakes his head.] Nope. I got my own. That one's yours.

Uh-uh, I just found it. [Someone has clearly not checked out the cover yet.] I'll go find who lost it. [She looks around... ... they are not close enough to see the town so she has no idea where she'd find other people.]
