Very much! It's so great to be able to just relax with my family; when we see each other in the city, we're all working and pressured. It's so much nicer to be able to hang out at home together.
Thank you. It really was! Finger's still stiff; thank god I'm a two-finger typist. :)
I seriously lucked out in the family department; I try never to take them for granted. As for gentle change, it'll be really freaking hard for me; I like doing things all at once in massive doses. Going slow without throwing in the towel is new and a little scary. We'll see...
Sounds like me too - I throw myself at things because I want it done now, and half kill myself in the process and drive my nearest and dearest round the bend. When you're that way inclined, it's incredibly difficult to slow down. I have another friend who is exactly the same, we can see it in each other, but can't cure it in ourselves ;~)
Good luck with changing things... and hope the finger has stopped throbbing by now *g*

Other than that *g*, it sounds like a beautiful weekend. Your family sound so amazing and sharing...
Hope the changes work out well for you - I think some one close like that can give you such a good view of your own life.
Gentle change. I may try a bit of that myself...!
