When I was little I would dump matches out on the kitchen table, and stare at them trying to move them with my mind. Yeah, yeah, that was cute, but a bit of that has stuck with me, and deep, deep, down, I still think it's not entirely impossible to spontaneously develop telekinesis. Every once in a while I'll glare at the remote, ordering it to fly across the room and into my hand.

Double awesome that you're teaching it. When I was asked what my fave books were last year (in a uni degree ffs!), I said Lolita and Emma. Some of the students looked all blank and the teacher was like, "...right." I had to jump in and say "Well, of course not the subject matter of Lolita. Perve."
