Hehehe ;)

The meringue was a bit too sweet unfortunately but other than that, it came out really well.

Lots of cooking, good job on the substitutions there, chickpeas are very handy! And yay finding gluten-free flour for the scones. When mum makes scones she doens't cut them out nicely, just dollops the mixture onto the baking tray - they don't look as pretty but it ensures the mix stays nice and light all the way through, so that might be a trick given gluten-free flour is often a bit heavier? And yes, nice and hungry now thankyou!

We've been eating more chickpeas lately, they're definitely a handy thing to have in. I think part of the issue was that the dough was slightly too dry so my mum added some water as my hands were messy but she put in far too much. I then had to add loads more flour in order to make it right, so I don't think that helped either. My mum also said that she had stopped rolling out the dough and just patted it out instead, although she only told me that afterwards! I'm not sure how you can dollop a dough though, it's not the sort of thing you can spoon out.

Ah, we don't roll the dough either, just mix to combine and its quite a sticky one and then it dollops.. like a thicker cake mix if you were doing fairy cakes? Maybe it depends on the recipe, i don't know.

That's definitely a different recipe. The scones I've always made have been more of a pastry/biscuit type dough so it wouldn't really dollop.
