Oh Amazon

I ordered some stuff from Amazon the other day, which included a pair of nail clippers. For some reason, that one item was holding up the rest of the order so Amazon sent the order in two halves with the clippers being sent separately. It arrived just before tea. Like this:

It's so daft! You'd think it would be more cost effective to use as little packaging as possible.

If you ever need moving boxes, order many tiny items from Amazon and have them shipped separately...

Perhaps they assume that larger boxes won't go lost all that easy?

It was tracked as well, so it shouldn't have got lost at all!

Yeah - they only seem to have small or big boxes these days ... I've had packaging like that as well.

They used to manage to fit a book or two plus a DVD in that fold around packaging they used to have, they must have used it all up!

Thats just daft, though I've heard its happenign a lot of late. They used to have a packaging feedback thing on their site where you could review how good or bad the size choice for a parcel had been, not sure if they still do that or have just ignored any feedback!

I had no idea there was a packaging feedback thing. Oh, there it is! I shall leave suitable feedback saying wtf.

I never used to bother much as it was alywas "all was fine, suitable size box, well done" but definitely something has gone awry there..

Twice no less! They'd sent out one pair of nail clippers like this but they were faulty so they had to send out a replacement pair. That came in exactly the same size of packaging.
